in the basement of the gallery, surrounded by abstract, mostly minimalist contemporary art presented by gallery 9, andy jee started a small hair studio named gallery 9 hair studio.
as a professional hairstylist andy has an experience of more than 20 years in top hair salons at the famous orchard road in singapore.
andy is specialised in treatments of as well european (western) hair as asian hair.
as well ladies, gentlemen and children are welcome!
andy also gives headmassages.

this year gallery 9 participates in art 2013 (www.art2013.nl), the new spring fair, successor of the arts- and antiques fair artantique, which will offer a new platform to as well antiques, old art, contemporary art and design.
this new art fair has the ambition to be thé springfair for design, arts and antiques.
art 2013 takes place in the jaarbeurs utrecht (nl), hall 8.
the fair is open to the public from sunday april 21 through sunday april 28 2013.
saturday april 20 will be the opening exclusive to invited persons.

more than 13.500 visitors went to the second edition of the raw art air in rotterdam. gallery 9 presented works of the artists of the gallery in in booth numbers 12 and 13.

large interest for reopening gallery 9
more than 300 people came to the reopening event and enjoyed the special music program. far more than expected.
the whole event apperared to be a good promotion for the gallery, the artists and their work.

the art catalogue is a new bimonthly magazine as guide to contemporary art in amsterdam.
the magazine is printed in an edition of 15.000 copies and is distributed to 4- and 5-stars hotels, grandcafé’s and other places in the higher segment in amsterdam and at schiphol in the lounges for business-class passengers.
in the winter issue 2013 is on pages 20 and 21 a publication about op gallery 9.
